Dr. Vakil is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography.

Dr. Vakil completed an Internal Medicine Residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center of Boston and Tufts University School of Medicine. He then continued on to complete a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the Lutheran General Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Vakil is well published in his field and is professionally affiliated with the American College of Cardiology, Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and Society of Echocardiology. Dr. Vakil has applied these talents over several years of practicing Cardiology in the state of Arizona.

He enjoys skiing, swimming, playing volleyball and photography.
