Sanjoy Bhattacharya, MD
Dr. Bhattacharya joined Sonoran Heart in 2011. He received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Duke University and a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Vermont. He then continued on to receive his Medical Degree from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. Following medical school, Dr. Bhattacharya completed a Residency in Internal Medicine at Parkland Hospital at the University of Texas Southwestern at Dallas. He went on to complete a 3-year fellowship in General Cardiology and a 2-year fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Bhattacharya is board certified in Internal Medicine, General Cardiology, and Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is extensively trained in pacemaker and defibrillator implantation and complex arrhythmia ablation.
