Hursh Naik, MD, FSCAI

Dr. Naik is one of only a few cardiologists in Arizona who specialize in complex coronary interventions and percutaneous structural heart disease treatment.

During his training at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA, he became involved in the early clinical trials investigating the use of percutaneous aortic valve replacement in patients with aortic stenosis. In addition, he has been trained in percutaneous left atrial appendage closure for patients with atrial fibrillation who are not ideal candidates for anticoagulation.

Dr. Naik takes a special interest in the percutaneous treatment of several structural heart abnormalities including ASD, PFO, VSD, PDA, perivalvular leaks, and also alcohol septal ablation for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. He has published extensively and presented at national meetings regarding these technologies and plans to bring these novel therapies to serve the community at large in Arizona.
