Bethanie B. Sorensen, BS, MMS, PA-C

Bethanie is a nationally certified Physician Assistant with over 10 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine, with an emphasis on patient education and disease prevention. She is an American College of Cardiology Cardiac Care Associate, member of the American Heart Association, Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and member of the American Society of Echocardiography.

Bethanie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Biology and Chemistry in 1997 from the University of Redlands. In 2003, she graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at Midwestern University with a Master's of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies.

In 2007, Bethanie was awarded the United Cultural Convention's International Peace Prize for her commitment to international medicine. She is a lifetime member and three-time nominee for the Cambridge VIP Who's Who (2006 -2008), as well as being an Empire Who's Who nominee and member in 2005.

Bethanie is leading the way in continuing medical education and certification of Physician Assistants nationally, as she will be one of the first PA's to sit for the Certification of Added Qualifications in Cardiothoracic Medicine in September 2011.
